NOTES
A piece written for large mixed chorus (of varying size), as a variation on the text used in "ars imitatur naturam" (which was written for Dianne Berkun-Menaker and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus) - a text which was often quoted by John Cage, "ars imitatur naturam in sua operatione" - "art imitates nature in her manner of operation". The quote comes from the Ceylonese philosopher Ananda Coomaraswamy, who was quoting Thomas Aquinas, who was (possibly) quoting Aristotle. This piece uses more chance methods of delineating the text as well as a new system of organizing time called Time Vectors.
